Witness the Scenic Beauty of Detroit Harbor

Paddle the serene waters of Detroit Harbor on a guided kayak tour. Learn the history of the Island as you glide over shallow wrecks from the days of sail. Explore the small islands and shallow bays that make up this unique harbor. Marvel at the diversity of wildlife in, on, and over the water. 

Who knew such adventure exists just a few steps off the Ferry? The sheltered waters of Detroit Harbor make this tour a great experience for all levels of paddlers. The tour departs at least twice daily from the public launch just across the road from our office.

All tours are lead by an ACA certified guide.

My friend and I reserved our kayak tour a few days prior to arriving on the island. We ended up being the only ones to sign up, so we got a private tour of Washington Harbor. The white cliffs were incredible and we were able to paddle over a shipwreck! It was definitely worth the money! Our guide was amazing! Hannah was very knowledgeable, very cool about taking our time in some rougher water, and was awesome to hang out with during the tour. We will be back again!
